The Health Care Administration Management program is a comprehensive business program that equips students with prior education and experience in health care with essential business and leadership skills. Admission Requirements
To be eligible for admission to the Health Care Administration Management program, applicants must have either of the following:
A two- or three-year college diploma, or a degree, preferably in Health Sciences. Applicants with other educational backgrounds will also be considered on a case-by-case basis.
OR
An acceptable combination of related work experience and post-secondary education that is deemed equivalent to the above by the College.
This means that if an applicant does not have a formal education in Health Sciences, they can still be considered for admission if they have relevant work experience in the healthcare field, in addition to some level of post-secondary education. However, the final decision on admission will be made by the College based on an evaluation of the applicant’s work experience and education to determine if it meets the program’s standards.
English Language Requirements
The following are the language proficiency requirements for admission to Graduate Certificate in Health Care Administration Management at Fanshawe College:
TOEFL iBT – Minimum score of 88
IELTS Academic – Overall score of 6.5 with no score less than 6.0 in any of the four bands
CAEL – Overall score of 70 with no score less than 60 in any of the four bands
PTE Academic – Minimum score of 59
Cambridge English – Overall score of 176 with no language skill less than 169
ESL4/GAP5 – Minimum grade of 80% in Level 9, 75% in Level 10
Duolingo – Overall score of 115, with no score lower than 95

The scores must be valid and submitted directly from the testing agency. Applicants who have completed high school or post-secondary education in English may be exempted from these language requirements, subject to the College’s approval.
