Program Structure of Post Baccalaureate Diploma in Health Care Management:

The Post-Baccalaureate Diploma in Health Care Management at CBU comprises the completion of 12 courses (39 credits) focused on health care management.

During the first year, students are introduced to core management subjects such as organizational behaviour, accounting, communications, statistics, and public policy. These courses provide students with a solid foundation in the principles and practices of effective management.

In the second year, students delve into more specialized areas of healthcare management, including health analytics, project management, and quality management. These courses equip students with the skills and knowledge required to analyze complex healthcare data, manage projects, and ensure quality in healthcare delivery.

In the final semester of the program, students have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience through a 12-week internship placement with a healthcare organization or by completing a capstone project. In either case, students can apply their newly acquired skills to real-world situations and gain valuable insights into the challenges and opportunities of healthcare management.

Admission Requirements

To be eligible for admission to the Post Baccalaureate Diploma in Health Care Management in CBU, applicants are required to have completed a 3-year Bachelor’s degree or equivalent course. In addition, applicants must have a minimum GPA of 70.0% or above. These academic requirements serve as the minimum level of education necessary for students to be able to successfully complete the program and acquire the skills and knowledge needed to excel in the field of healthcare management.

The minimum language test scores for admission to the program are:

IELTS: 6.5

TOEFL: 80.0

PTE: 59.0

Duolingo: 120.0

CBU offer conditional admission for applicants who do not meet the minimum language proficiency test scores for Post Baccalaureate Diploma in Health Care Management. Instead of submitting language proficiency test scores, applicants may complete English courses before beginning the academic program. The length of the English course will be determined based on the applicant’s level of English proficiency.
