Program Overview
Post-Baccalaureate Diploma – Supply Chain Management (Co-op) is designed to equip students with a solid understanding of supply chain management (SCM). It builds on their general academic background and begins with a strong focus on communication and business fundamentals. The program then moves on to cover the three main areas of SCM: procurement, operations, and logistics, followed by the first Co-op work term.
Throughout the program, there is a strong emphasis on the interconnected nature of SCM, the use of analytics in decision-making, and the acquisition of knowledge and skills that have been identified through industry consultation.
The Co-op component is a crucial part of the program. It provides students with an opportunity to gain productive work experience in a Canadian workplace while also applying the theory and skills they have learned in the classroom.
By experiencing real-world business practices, students are able to gain new perspectives that can be brought back to the classroom. This allows them to perform various multifaceted business functions in areas such as purchasing, operations, logistics, customer and information services, financial support, and project coordination.
