- Evaluating your class X and XII English score
Not every university mandates IELTS. They may use other aspects to assess your English language proficiency. For example, if you have studied at a school where every subject is taught in English and you score overall good grades, then the same may be taken into consideration when applying to certain universities.
- Conducting an online interview
Some universities invite candidates for an interview. The interview can be online through Skype or over the phone. This is done to assess the student’s language competence and comprehension.
- English graduate
If you majored in English for your undergraduate degree, the university admissions board may chose to focus on such prior education for assessing your English language skill.
