The Concordia University of Edmonton has been an essential part of Alberta’s educational heritage since 1921. The Concordia University of Edmonton began offering undergraduate degrees in the arts and sciences in 1987. They currently offer over 45 majors and minors in Arts, Science, and Management, two after-degree programs, three master’s degrees, and many graduate certifications and diplomas. The Concordia University of Edmonton is a learning community based on scholarship and academic freedom, training students to be independent thinkers, leaders, and societally engaged citizens.
Throughout history, universities have been devoted to delivering a liberal arts-based higher education. The Concordia University of Edmonton is indeed a globally informed and responsible institution that prioritizes the needs of its students and the community. At CUE, different forms of diversity and many insights they provide are accepted and promoted. Race, ethnicity, nationality, gender identity and expression, class, religion, handicap, age, economic situation, geographic location, and language/linguistic aptitude are examples.
Following the Alberta Public Agencies Governing Act, Concordia University of Edmonton has created governance procedures founded on competency, exhibit transparency, preserve responsibility, and intentionally contribute to the institution’s mission and vision. Legislation, bylaws, rules, and procedural papers guide these governance procedures. Concordia University of Edmonton’s graduates will be acknowledged on a national and worldwide scale for their knowledge, competence, integrity, and wisdom.
